After their first win of the season, Cowie suffered a resounding defeat at the hands of Hazelhead.
The teams were evenly matched during the first quarter, but after the first quarter break, Hazelhead came out fighting and proved to be a much too strong a team for Cowie.
Cowie's inexperience on the netball court became apparent throughout the match, but they tried to not let their heads go down, and continued to do all they could to stop Hazelhead's game.
The match gave Cowie lots to go away and think about, and hopefully they will be a stronger and more formidable opponent for Hazelhead next time the two teams meet.
